Our Story

Ghana Christian Mission was founded in 1998 by Rev. Dr. Samuel Ofori, who felt called by God to serve the rural communities of Ghana. What began as a small church planting initiative in Northern Ghana has grown into a comprehensive ministry touching thousands of lives across the nation.

Rev. Dr. Ofori, a native Ghanaian who spent years in pastoral ministry, witnessed firsthand the immense spiritual and physical needs of his fellow Ghanaians. He saw villages without churches, families without access to healthcare, children unable to attend school, and communities trapped in cycles of poverty.

With a small team of dedicated volunteers and limited resources, the mission planted its first church in a remote village. As the congregation grew, community members began sharing other needs medical care, education for their children, clean water, and economic opportunities.

This led to the expansion of our ministry into four core programs: church planting, medical outreach, Christian education, and community development. Today, we partner with churches, organizations, and individuals around the world to bring holistic transformation to Ghana.
